If you want to expect the m.c to think so mature you should better check his stature first, and as someone who experienced being robbed and betrayed his whole life it's just a right thing to do, if you're thinking that no one is stupid enough to prioritize their grudges over life n death situation. I guess you haven't experience one yourself other people even chooses death if it means they can take revenge on their grudges. Also you can't or call the mc. trash the way he resolve or interact with others that's just proved how the m.c. had enough experiences and learned from it. I guess your the one stupid enough to expect some friendly interaction or trust to others coming from the m. c after reading the m.c past before being a hunter.
