I read this novel few years ago, and was really good.
but i had to stop reading because i got tired of the Mc

I need only one answer... are the cultivators strong is this novel? cause so far I've read 100chaps and these so called cultivators are weak af. like not even city level.

Dont get me wrong, the novel isnt bad in anyway. just that I've read so many novels that I'm used to seeing characters throwing mountains and splitting heaven and earth for fun.

Is this one worth reading?

Meatbun is not sure about this book but Meatbun likes many OP MC. Meatbun wants action and comedy like Library of Heaven's Path. A lot of People told Meatbun about how cool this book was so Meatbun will vote.

Guys I checked out the CN site, the novel is highly recommended and is rated more highly than Ze Tian Ji, the author's most popular work among the Translation community. I suppose this is a novel worth your precious votes.

If this novel is like ZTJ, I can already see myself dropping it in frustration. Why? In the case of ZTJ, the MC was too weak to fight his own battles until 120+ chapters in, the author begins to add tons and tons of filler into the story lkke redundant commentary from observers, extraneous explanations that are forgotten after they have been read and dragged out battles ala Dragon Ball Z where a single punch can take up a whole chapter. I was hoping that after almost 200 chapters, the dragging on and filler would have lessened, but no. I found myself saying 'Get to the freaking point author! Move the plot forward already! Arg!'.

Rant mode off... :P

I can only pray this story does not fall into the same hole as ZTJ. There are too many other good stories out there to be wasting my time on soul draining filler.

Just the first chapter and im already god damn confused. Stories written in riddles from chinese context has lost a lot of the content's meaning after translation. I dont see any point wrecking my brain just to enjoy a novel.

you really just can't say that the story is garbage by reading the first 3 of 1088 chapters of the novel then rating it 1.5 star. sure the quality in translation is in need of editing but this novel is a completed work deserving of its luster of praise. so i hope those who gave their irresponsible ratings and reviews will update it as the translation soon catches up till the completion, i'm not asking for high ratings but a reasonable one because at the end of the day we have all different tastes for stories.

Mao ni novels are different from regular cn novels that are full of cliche, repeatative tropes and fluff.

Mao ni novels have well thought of plots, full of literature (like poems and qoutes), descriptive paragraphs.

For sure, not everyone prefers this. Writing style is a bit heavier compare to shallow and easy to understand novels. It might take a while for thing to get interesting. But it is worth taking note of, mao ni novels are different from others of it genre
