Am I the only one who gets confused when reading this? They switch scenes without any hint. Other novels usually have some form of demarcation but this has no paragraphs, asterisks or dashes when switching scenarios. You could have the Emperor talking to his son one moment and the next line is a lady buying apples in the market. Please do something about this, it makes it hard to follow the story
