After Qiao Mei's parents passed away, her uncle, Mr. Qiao, and his family moved into the Qiao Mansion. He took over the Qiao Corporation, becoming its president. However, after a few years, Mr. Qiao grew accustomed to his new lifestyle and sought to rid himself of his niece.
Mr. Qiao had previously entered into a failed business deal with President Su, Su Yesi, a cunning and manipulative businessman. Su Yesi proposed a merger, offering to buy the Qiao Corporation or marry one of Mr. Qiao's daughters. Mr. Qiao saw this as an opportunity to send Qiao Mei away.
Qiao Mei was forced to move to the Su Mansion, despite her objections. Su Yesi's gaze remained cold and distant. "I don't care how you live, but never enter my personal space," he remarked coldly.
"Do I look like someone interested in your personal space?" Qiao Mei retorted.
As time passed, Su Yesi found himself looking forward to returning home daily. Despite his icy exterior, he couldn't explain the feelings growing within him.
