Hello everyone! Syncogon here, bringing you the prequel translation. Butterfly Blue originally wrote this prequel back around 2015, and this translation has been my pet project for over two years now – I was translating this for a while before I began translating the novel officially. Unlike the main novel translation, which was worked on by a team, the prequel translation is entirely my own individual work, and I take deep pride in it. I am honored to now be able to bring the prequel to you in an official capacity. I have a lot of emotions about the prequel – about the characters, some new and some familiar but in a new context; about the stories that we now get to witness personally, instead of hearing about secondhand; about the additional insight we gain into this world of esports. There is a lot of good content here, and I hope that you enjoy this as much as I have. As of now, there are 21 chapters (that make up 7 “parts”) published on the official Chinese Qidian site. However, there are three more parts (maybe 6-7 more chapters) to the prequel: “Inheritance,” “The Beginning of Legend,” and “Dynasty and Youth,” which will take us up through the end of Season 3. If or when Qidian updates the raws on their site, then we will update the corresponding translation here.  In the meantime, as always: thank you for reading, and may our glory never fade!

I am starting to get interested the more I read.Keep it up author!I liked the all three books!Recommend them to everyone!

Just the first 6 chapters absolutely amazed me you should put some more effort into this book I bet it would get in the rankings really soon.

Still haven’t started—when does he finally get the system? It feels like it’s taking forever to see any progress or development form  the system?

"Exactly," Baron Frederick said as he placed down the quill, the sound reverberating within the stillness of the room.

I put my phone back in my pocket and looked around the hallway. Where did Jess even go? I thought about it for a minute and wondered if I was Jess where would I go, but that didn't help me either. The problem was that I had no clue where Jess could have gone. This was the University of Alabama, it was a huge campus so there was no telling where she went or why, but I did get the feeling she stayed in this building.

He quickly said "But then it suddenly started glowing in my hand when it came into contact with blood in my hand that was caused by some branches when the monkey was swinging me. I fainted right after that and in the morning when I woke up the gem was not there and then when peered out from the trunk a guard near there saw me and that was how that whole incident ended. I never said anything about it at that time because I thought it as a dream but now I am really sure that it was real" He paused and then said "Today when I had collapsed, I woke up in a place that was real yet unreal like illusion but you can't tell the difference when you are there"

"I'm afraid you might be a bit late for that," A voice said, the front door opening suddenly. "I have some things I would like to discuss with you."
