Wow.. finally updated!

Apparently the story has 979 "main story" chapters. Maybe it will take ~1.5 years for the novel to be fully translated?

Personally, I didn't enjoy it. Initially, I was put off because the main character (MC) didn't seem to enjoy it, and the other character (ML) was too forceful with lines like "I can get anything I want" and "don't you dare die, or I'll kill your mother." So, I ended up skipping around, checking out some of the more intriguing chapter titles.

, it wasn't satisfying. The awareness and embarrassment in the incest scenes were well-done, but the sex felt too routine for my tastes. I don't understand how there can be so many chapters where the sex is essentially the same each time.

Let me clarify: I love the feelings evoked from incest smut, not the fantasy of incest itself. The immoral feelings the characters experienced gave this a 2/5 rating. Otherwise, that was the most significant kink in the smut; everything else seemed boring and repetitive.

First of all, it's intense, so it's not for everyone. However, once we get past that, I think the novel was quite good, despite being a High H novel where the plot isn't the main focus. Nonetheless, the plot was solid, and I found the era/timeline of the novel quite intriguing (late 1930s-1940s). The plot was engaging, and I found the story sweet and wholesome. I particularly enjoyed the relationship between the Female Lead (FL) and Male Lead (ML), even though it started off as forceful but later became very good. I also liked both characters. Moreover, I enjoyed the side couple (the maid of FL and the subordinate of ML) as well; their relationship was quite sweet. Finally, the ending was very good and very satisfying (Happy Ending, HE).
