Giant cliche, cant really become more cliche. Example: he goes to the market and finds a really amazing martial arts book and the guy selling has no idea how valuable it is, so the mc gets it for the cheap and the martial art stance isnt even creative, the first thing the mc does to practice it is just a horse stance

I'm a little bias in this review because I only read the a few chapters but for the Monkey King I'll give 5 stars............................

5 Stars!!! It's basically Overlord but with a WW2 theme. There are some sections that are in spanish and have a lot of text gibberish. But a part from that it's a ok story!

Not a very bad not a very good concept. Mc was a cannibal in his previous life and also a serial killer so it is logical to expect that he should be cold blooded and have a collected personality but in the starting ch he is anything but that. How he easily forgave his mother for burning him alive for a year tho for his sake but still she hurt u bruh how can u easliy say its ok. And the darkness thing is quite weird but may be explained in the upcoming ch. He loses his cool with the fl and acts like an idiot. And lastly the thing i hate the most the cultivation world . The world is based on western fantasy as there are dukes kings marquis etc but then wth is there cultivation and spiritual energy or whatever. I jst hate the cultivation tag coz the majority of them are trash and weird. The power stages are so weird and cringy and the heaven and earth words which are literally in every chinese novel is so annoying.

Till now the novel is good , great plot development and mc . Just a request don't make Ren and novel's hero bff like rest other villain transmigration novels (except for chinese cultivation novels where logic does not work ) keep a certain amount of hate or rivalry among the novel's hero and Ren . It would make the novel more interesting than reading the same  plot again and  novel's mc had killed the novel's Ren which is the same as the other Ren .Don't make Ren sissy by simply forgiving others  just keep his attitude like this only throughout the novel .My best wishes , please don't drop the novel
