this is a very good novel. although it uses some cliches, characters are fleshed out, even antagonists, who in this novel actually have a reason to oppose the mc. so although i don't sympathise with antagonists, they are understandable. another example of fleshed out characters is the typical "talent less father exiled from clan" was actually exiled due to being lazy and arrogant. and for once, a young mc doesn't act like some all-knowing being who somehow knows everyones intentions but can sometimes be deceived- though still isn't stupid. all in all, this is one of the best cultivation novels
