Read some few chapters and even though it's not perfect, it simply doesn't deserve all the criticism it's getting. The book is still ongoing, and it's just absurd to judge character development without seeing the end of the book. The ccharacter development might be slow, but in general it's a good read.

a true masterpiece, at least by the standards of novels you see on webnovel. most novels on this site are *******, and have many mistakes. this has few, and is truly entertaining and impressive. although it has a bit of a slow start, it gets incredibly good soon. the cultivation system and "paths" are complex and interesting. there is also a drive that the mc has to actually improve and do things, compared to most cultivation novels where it's just "i want to be the strongest!". i recommend this novel to anyone who is willing to put some time in. due it's slow start, it can seem boring but if you stick with it for a bit longer, it gets really good.

One of the worst reads out there!!!While the background and such are relativally well thought out, this novel is the absolute worst when it comes to battle scenes!!The amount of idiot*c shounen protagonist battle scenes are absolutelly disgusting! The MC fighting like the dumbest living organism with constantly withholdung his power even though it is obvious that he would have to use his full-power against his opponent.This caused a lot of filler scenes where the battles are needlessly dragged out and do nothing but enrage the readers with the amount of stupidity displayed.Really tragic, because this is otherwise a great book, but the battles make it unbearable!

I read the early chapters of this novel a month ago and immediately drawn in. The premise is very promising as it explores humans desire for a second chance after life for their loved ones and themselves. I am so happy Sabet has finally published the story here on Webnovel. I can't wait to keep reading more.Writing quality = 5 stars. For a newbie author, this is very impressive.Story development = 5 stars so far. I've read all available chapters and really like how it's progressing. We get information on the game slowly but in a good pace with enough mystery to keep us guessing. Good flow and pacing.Character design = 5 stars for now. Only saw a few characters so far but they are well thought lot and relatable.Updating stability = 5 stars. One chapter per day now, though I predict it's going to be more once the book is contracted.World background = solid five stars for the one I've seen so far. Can't wait to read more.

Enjoying the slower pace and evened out powers of this version instead of how the mc was  wimp with op powers . really glad I got back to this one.

Bits and pieces of various other novels badly pieced together. Not an ounce of originality. There must be hundreds of beast taming novels on this site by now, yet the protagonists always have the same few pets. I only read a few chapters and there are already so many red flags.The story takes place a mere 17 years after a literal apocalypse, yet we have a fully functioning society with advanced knowledge on spiritual energy (which is new) and genetic technology. I can guarantee that later in the story we’ll have a whole bunch of old masters and old experts full of knowledge on beasts as if they had been learning the stuff their whole lives and not the same amount of time as literally anyone else who’s at least in their twenties.The protagonist died because he killed a mosquito, which is a big no-no because mosquitoes are now super poisonous and if you touch them you die; yet later we learn that in his previous life the protagonist was a member of a beastmaster’s entourage and he was the team’s survival expert… the beastmaster was naturally a female beastmaster and died, I’m sure in this new life he’ll get the chance to save the jade beauty and add her to his collection.His first pet is a bear… so unoriginal it hurts. At some point I’m sure he’ll get a green caterpillar and the usual dragon or phoenix.He lived a pathetic life and by the time he died 10 years later, he never even managed to gather enough money to buy the awakening potion. Despite that he has tons of convenient knowledge he should not have had acess to, considering he should have been busy trying to survive at the bottom of society.All in all i’d say read it only if you’re new to Webnovel or the genre.
