Author wasn't trying to make a dense protagonist, they were trying to give the readers health problems in slowest and most grueling way possible (o･｀Д´･o)!!
Absolutely amazing book, highly recommend! Not usually a type I would go for but J. Tarr knocked it outta the park and I will definitely be reading it again!
