Honestly, the novel could be a lot more worse. It's not entirely consistent and not the top of the notch. But I enjoy turning off my brain and enjoying whatever senseless antics occur. I use this as something to read whenever I'm waiting for everything else to update.

I read this a year ago and caught up so i stopped and came back now to see if there are plenty of updated chapters but there are only a few and it's waaaay far from the ending atm. it's honestly the best chinese novel i have ever read so it sucks coz i have no choice but to read the mtl version which basically ruins it. This is my favorite chinese novel and it still is even after a year now but i'm not patient enough to wait for years for this to finally be completed, it's really sad but i'm gonna have to drop this. bye :( :(
