This is a typed MTL, with many flaws in the writing. It is a good story with a good flow, but the author typing from Google translate doesn’t know the sports slang and doesn’t know too much about English grammar.

For example, there are times I question whether this is a basketball novel or a cultivation novel due to the character having so many breakthroughs. Isn’t he immortal by now?

Don't read this after like a few hundred chapters, it really goes completly downhill, tried to finish this, buts it almost impossible to read with being infuriated by the same cliches used over and over again and the same lazy writing...does this guy not know how to write anything other than "mc
(teamate) gets injured and he must rise up" among other things.

free 5 star review just to ask: Anyone know any good basketball novels that are pretty long and i can binge read in a few days minimum? Preferably ones with good grammar lol. I'd prefer if there was romance/system tag in it as well, there doesn't have to be though.

As an avid reader, I found "Basketball Myth" to be a captivating and thought-provoking novel. The author skillfully weaved together the intricate world of basketball with compelling characters, each battling their own personal demons on and off the court. The narrative was not just about the game, but also a profound exploration of friendship, resilience, and the power of dreams. It kept me hooked from start to finish, leaving me reflecting on the true essence of sportsmanship. A must-read for any fan or anyone seeking an engaging and inspiring story.

Quite entertaining, in terms of the sports novels I've read, this ranks near the top even with the quasi MTL nature of the writing (honestly not that bad, but maybe i've read too much MTl). I can't specifically that there are parts were the novel particularly excels, but the everything is quite satisfactory and there are no real problems I have with it, also the main character is not intolerable and actually somewhat acts his age.

There is a sprinkle of racism/political agenda, but that was mainly against a hong kong team, so far there hasn't been any international play, so this maybe become more prevalent. I do like that they are other characters around the MC and it's not just him by himself, I hope that the 2 other guys in his team also follow him, at-least to the CBA or maybe national team?

Overall, pretty entertaining!

Basketball Myth, a thought-provoking novel, delves into the intricate tapestry of our society's obsession with the sport and its impact on individuals, communities, and cultural identity. The book weaves a narrative that transcends the court, exploring the dreams, aspirations, and challenges faced by those who dare to chase the elusive championship title. It humanizes the players, revealing their vulnerabilities, rivalries, and personal growth, reminding us that beneath the glamour lies the very essence of the human experience.

The novel doesn't shy away from addressing the pressures and expectations placed on athletes, as well as the sacrifices made for success. It highlights the importance of resilience, teamwork, and the power of overcoming adversity. At its core, Basketball Myth is a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who dare to believe in themselves and the transformative power of a shared passion.

Moreover, it touches upon broader societal issues such as race, inequality, and the role of sports in fostering unity or perpetuating divisions. By examining these themes through the lens of basketball, the author encourages readers to reflect on their own values and beliefs.

In a world where sports often dominate headlines, Basketball Myth serves as a reminder that beneath the scores and records, there are real people with stories, hopes, and struggles that resonate universally. This compelling read not only entertains but also provokes introspection, making it a must-read for anyone who appreciates the complexities of the human condition and the enduring allure of the game we call basketball.
