No. But I heard it was filled with so much filler that it becomes almost unreadable

There are several similar to this one, but if I'm honest, many of them are garbage.

For example, I remember reading one in which the protagonist had a system that forced him to simulate a life in another world and from that he would get rewards according to his progress. I'm talking about a complete simulation and not just a few words mentioning everything they did. So it looked interesting. However, I was disappointed to read that the said MC stopped using that system mechanic and instead assigned other people to use it, taking most of his earnings and giving them a measly reward.

In truth, that story made me empathize more with the secondary characters, who were actually making an effort to live their lives, instead of idle MCs.

I thought you had a Ending maker profile pic. Only to realize it isn't and to once again realize it is lol.

Hahaha. It is certainly a bit confusing as its first image is better known than this one. In fact, I hadn't seen this one before until I searched for Ending Maker images to put on my profile.

The premise of this story is halfway decent, the author had some interesting ideas and tried to pull an interesting spin on an old genre.

The major problem with this novel is that the author utterly fails to express emotions in a convincing way. The MC feels wooden and constructed because he has either too much emotions or none at all. Side-Characters are a lot better, but not really relevant due to the premise of this story.

World building is okay-is, not good, but vague enough to be believable. Differences in planets are almost nonexistent, but again, this isn't a slice of life or exploration type of story.

Pasing is another problem, we either get way to much information about things we don't need to care about at all, or not enough to really imagine what is going on.

Hi all, yes it's me again, your translator chuchutrain. Really happy to be taking over to translate once again for Qi Peijia's novels, after finishing The Legendary Mechanic almost a year ago! For those of you who are long term fans of Black Star, come join me in this ride of Sci-fi/game element + some cultivation aspect (new twist that QPJ is planning)! For those new to his books, just sit tight and enjoy how he spins the story :) (p.s. you can take a look at TLM in the meantime)
