After a good hour by the fire that Killian had built, Aria was finally starting to feel dry. The mermaid girl hadn't left the stream the entire time the Pixies had been making camp. Aria was cuddled up next to the fire, wrapped in a dandelion leaf and cuddling Fang, who seemed less than pleased with his current position. Killian emerged from the woods carrying another bundle of twigs and set it on the fire, looking up at Aria, "That should be enough for another hour if we play our cards right." He said, sitting down next to Aria, lamenting the difficulties of tending a fire no bigger than a matchbox. Aria looked over at him and frowned, "So what's the plan chief? How are we going to get across the entire country with a mermaid in tow?" She asked, setting Fang down next to the backpack which he promptly crawled into without coercion. Killian looked up at the blue haired girl and sighed, "Well that is a tough one, isn't it?" He said as the girl grinned and waved at them from the creek. "I mean, I'd love to ditch the soaking little jerk, but somehow it seems wrong to leave an innocent foreigner alone in the woods," Aria said, glaring at the mermaid who was sticking her tongue out at her. "On second thought, we can't prove she's a mermaid conclusively." She said with a growl. Killian nodded, " Yeah, I've been thinking about that and I thought, why don't we just ask her?" He said, standing up and walking over to the creek. Aria scrambled to her feet and followed him on foot, her wings still too wet to fly. Killian smiled cheerfully at the girl upon reaching her and waved, "Hello, will you show us your tail?" He asked cheerfully. The girl looked at him, as though thinking very hard and shook her head, "No. Tail is gone. Legs are good." She said happily, wiggling her toes as if to show her point. Killian frowned, "But you do have a tail, right?" Her confirmed, watching as the girl nodded emphatically, "Yes, pretty tail! More colors!" She said, clapping happily before frowning, "But no. No go back. People hurt tail. Not hurt legs." She said stubbornly, standing up and walking out of the creek. Aria shrugged, "Well she's got a point. Bandits, slave traders, you name it, all of them would pay a high price for a mermaid, whether or not it was alive." She said, looking over at the girl who was staring at her as though trying to make out what she had just said. Killian nodded, "Yeah, leaving her isn't an option, we'll just have to take her with us." He said, causing the girl to grin, "Yes! Take with you! Boys are good!" She shouted back happily, causing Aria to scowl, "Fine, but I'm not calling her by the ridiculous sounding name." She looks at the girl and taps her lip in thought before grinning, " I got it! You are now Fishy!" She said, watching the mermaids reaction. "Aria, that's just stupi-" Killian started but was cut off by the girl screaming happily, "Yes! Fishy is good! Love Fishy!" She exclaimed, causing Aria to look over at Killian smugly, "Fishy it is then."
