I watched the State of Divinity (1996 TV series) and loved that show. I knew there was a Novel of it but never spent the time to look for it until now. Was reading it online but the chapters very LONG and I keep loosing track of where I left off so I came here. Reading it off Webnovel is so much easier especially since it keeps track of where you left off. Unfortunately Webnovel has a 20k word / 100k character limit for each chapter so I had no choice but to chop up the chapters into parts.For those who also want to read this feel free. I am not taking someone else's work and passing them off as my own, full credit is given to the original writer, translators and editor as listed in the descriptions, plus the content of this novel is free online in multiple sources for everyone to read. So putting this up on Webnovel is just for my own convenience sake and anyone else who wishes to read this.

1 Translation done by "Novelsaga" are horrendous. After all, they ninja-ed the translation. Like literally garbage translation. The previous translator was far better. No amount of godly editors can save up Novelsaga's trash translations. 2a. Story development : Its a typical "band of brothers" kind of xianxia. I don't know if this novel is contracted with the original work from the comic version or just some guys found the original novel version and translated it, but you guys can check the novel version, it's great.

Loved the story's background and setting as well as the characters I read. The author has a vivid imagination and has created a world for us to enjoy! Great Job!

its alright, i guess. i read up to chapter 10 before i stopped. interactions between father and son are very unnatural and feels super robotic, and it feels like the bisexual stuff is done more for the sake of it than for actual character development. MC is inconsistent in some places, acting and behaving out of character for a "lone wolf" type. also, it felt like a poor writing choice to have the very first job be irregular. inconsistencies with registering to become a porter like how the guy who signed him asked for no ID at all. i guess if you want a novel with a gay mc, this is a choice. otherwise? just read SS rank suicide hunter or stay at home dad in another world, both of which fill their niche better than this one thats straddling both.

⚠ Warning ⚠ To the readers who are gonna start reading this novel please note that this book has been in hiatus mode for almost 2 years. There has been no update after 1482. So choose yourself whether you wanna read this novel and have a heartbreak in the end cause the novel is not finished. Although this novel is worth it. I love this novel so much that I feel so sad it has not been updating. And the biggest torture is I'm not even sure whether this is gonna get completed ever. ☹️
