The Weakest Main Character - Reviews

Boring wish fulfilment novel. Cant really get into it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I genuinely fail to understand the other reviews. It seems like most folks didn't bother to read past chapter 40. That or they instantly judged it based on the type of the novel. In reality, the novel is actually quite decent. Although it isn't a masterpiece, it's certainly not deserving of such a low rating. Quite reminiscent of Top Tier Providence, though I personally prefer this one quite a bit more. Mostly because the comedy level is higher here as far as I'm concerned. There's enough comedy, showing off, scamming people, and wholesomeness. The translation is actually fairly decent too (again, no idea what's wrong with the folks calling the TL trash, literally better than 90% of the garbage TL on here). I would recommend giving it a shot, becomes better the farther along you get.

The story concept is interesting, but so many other factors ruin it for me. The MC says many things that just seem sexist. There are tons of run on sentences and grammar issues as well. Plus, there are some scenes that are so awkwardly written. Like discussing the skills of the group only to go on a tangent about how no one has enough mana to use skills and they will just have to attack any monsters until they die. If that's how it is, just skip the introduction and move onto the fighting.

Now, I have had a lot of problems with school last month, which delayed anything related to writing (only planned first 5 chaps of Volume 1 rip) and I actually have a lot to catch up on due to education differences (old place was based on one year courses while new place is 2 year based).
