Read it until chapter 20 and i can only say that the mc is dumb and weak. He has such a strong power buy he doesnt use it to its full potential. Its like the author likes to make his mc suffer and undermine him. I'd rather have Dupe as the mc or even Jake, thousands of times better than a typical xianxia-like villain character which the mc has.

Okay, I have read this for the first time and I have to say, not the best, not the worst. The english is functional, there are mistakes but not enough to kill someone. I'd say they are mostly the result of a lack or knowledge about english or it not being the authors first language. The updates seem to be reasonable from what I can see in the table of contents, no problem there. The movement of the story can be a quick at times but for the most part it's well paced. 5/5 on that, good job.Character design is interesting, and I'm sure it'll get better as we spend more time around them. Some characters though they might come off as annoying could be redeemed with enough work and development. Not much to say about world design. It's a got some good ideas behind it and has the potential to go above and beyond. All in all, good stuff, keep up the good work.Requested by Murphy.

Just as her vision began to still and she caught sight of Koan moving as a blur to her Byakugan, she noticed something even stranger. His movements weren't inhibited in the slightest. He was moving at the exact same speed has he had been before she had hit both of his legs. That didn't make any sense. The Jyuuken was designed specifically to disrupt movements, negate the flow of chakra to body parts and thereby disable an enemy's ability to move at a combat-ready speed. That in itself was incredibly hard to resist. So how was Koan ignoring it like it was nothing?

All I wanted in the story are all here. Mafia, arranged marriage, forbidden romance. Did you made this story for me, Emmanuel? Lol! I will definitely read this one!
