A brilliant and fascinating realistic fiction novel. The book is very captivating as it full of intrigues well planned out by the author. I am a fan of cultivation novels but I must say that when I found out about this book, I continued to read. It was smooth and entertaining as I was immersed in a world full of suspense. The book is amazing and there is no error which makes the book deeply interesting to read. So glad I got the link to this novel.Also, writer's english is awesome and excellent. Am a writer myself but I have to say that I would have to learn english from this writer. Smooth flows and good use of words. Good job author. I really appreciate your passion for this work. Don't stop writing and please give more updates. ? ? ♥

I love the attention to detail of this novel, there are very few novels that the magic protagonist even mentions how magic happens, just *poof* magic...I hope this one receive a warm welcome from the community.

A pretty good novel, just not to everyone's taste. I'd say 50% is politics, 40% is focused on the protagonists life which basically involve a little fighting, lots of talking, and planning, and about 10% is actually about him cultivating. Gets a little tasteless over time with all the maneuvering and there really isn't anything that makes it truly stand out. A decent novel to pass the time though.

I like this novel, and hope the author just drop it like others. In the following hope the character of the mc get better and being able define himself his own authority and exerce more control over his ability to focus on what he need and discern what he don't. ??????????????????

this story is held within the kingdom of ishtaria found in the world of fantasia. this kingdom dates back to over 2 centuries ago from the current timeline and survived through many challenges which led to a diverse culture and powerful figures emerging from here.It is currently one of the 5 remaining survivors of the 'dark ages' and stands proudly as an almighty powerhouse. The kingdom consists of 2 versions of nobility,Low ranking and high ranking nobles. low ranking nobility are leaders of the various sectors within the kingdom. the kingdom is sub- divided into 10 parts, each with a 'mayor' whose family and relatives are classified as low ranking nobles. High ranking nobles are those of a pure noble bloodline, and in the case of the kingdom of ishtaria, those with a bloodline from an ancient clan. there is only 3 such noble clans and the royal family is included. The kingdom currently consists of 52 thousand troops(52k), 10 thousand(10k) of which are classified as 'royal knights' and are divided into groups of two thousand(2k) and led by 5 commanders chosen directly by the king. out of the remaining 40k 'ordinary' troops, 20k(known as the peace keepers) are responsible for maintaining order among commoners(roughly 2k in each of the 10 sectors), and 10k(known as the guard teams) are sub divided into many groups and serve as guards at various outposts and important landmarks within the kingdom. 10k(the hunting squads 1-5)  form teams of 2k and a leader is appointed,usually the most experienced among the group and they are responsible for carrying out hunting task and gathering meat outside the kingdom in the nearby forest of darkness, which, despite the name, is filled with few dangers especially in the exterior regions(mostly because the 5 commanders scared away any strong creatures, even a few dragons were forced back deep within the interior regions of the forest) and a variety of creatures can be found to feed the 500k population.
