I don't like Lu Beichen character. He's not even attending his wedding with Gu Jingyan and chasing after his ordinary girlfriend. I don't understand what writer want with all these throwback from the past. After few years marriage he is still not gentleman with endless of bickering. If I am Gu Jingyan I will leave him on the same day after wedding ceremony. So what if they love each other but never once respect their partner. If someone ask me the most hateful character in this novel. I will choose him. That b*****d Lu Beichen. I think GU Jingyan deserved someone better. Why so hateful?
