[COMPLETED REVIEW]Strong leads?: YesInteresting side characters?: For the most part. Antagonists weren't very memorable thoughSkippable side stories?: Yes, some are enjoyable but skipping them won't affect the main story, especially the ones at the end, felt like they could be their own book tbhWorth reading?: YesWould recommend paying for this?: Partially. The entire book is really costly but it's worth spending some coins onReview comments:Well, that was quite the enjoyable ride! This is your typical under appreciated pretty girl x omega rich handsome CEO face slapping trope, but well thought out and written that the entire novel was drama filled and very binge worthyOur protagonist Su Luo is beautiful, cute and talented, and our male lead Lu Heting is, as all rich handsome CEOs are of this genre, overbearing, imposing but absolutely wife-beaten. There's also the added bonus of little boys who are involved and mentioned frequent enough to not just feel like plot driversThe story is mainly focused on the female protagonist going through a plethora of antagonists (I can barely name 2 out of the bunch lol) one after another like how supermodels change their clothes. Ironically, that was her starting career too lolThere was a pretty well thought out story plot that surrounds the female lead's past that ran concurrent with all the face slapping that added a nice little seasoning on the side. The male lead is (imo) kind of too overbearing especially with jealousy sometimes, but he's not too much to the point of being disliked. The way the author transitions into side stories mid story is also done pretty well and most of the side characters (that aren't antagonists) were very enjoyable to read. These relationships feel like the author's way of being able to squeeze as many romance tropes in as possible lol not that I mindOverall, I think this story is a very pleasant read well worth the coins I spent (bought in bulk the entire story at 50%) and I would definitely recommend it to people who enjoy the overbearing CEO, faceslapping romance genresTwo thumbs up from me!
