Keith Blackhound was expelled from his Order for selling voyeur photos. After that, he wandered around doing random business by making weird magic items, occasionally scamming people by selling his failed products.

One day, after being discovered selling fake love talismans, he was chased by Temple Knights, ending up lost in the Elven Forest. Happening upon several elves being attacked by a basilisk, he went to help them, expecting food as reward.

He successfully repelled it with another one of his weird product and, as wished, received food as a reward from an elven girl's father.

The father turned out to be an influential person in the kingdom and took a liking to him.

He was recommended to be Court Magician by him and was accepted.

His first duty is to teach Elven Princess Naia, who despite being an elf, is unable to use magic.

its basically a money grab opportunity as the others have said, it goes around in circles. the story is repetitive. The book started off really good, but eventually lost the plot. Both the leads are really weak willed, neither willing to fight for what they want. So far very disappointing.

Chapter 292 The protagonist tells another person that he does not want to be emperor, that he considers it a job that is not in his interest, and that he already has an heiress (a useless and foolish girl). He also says that he wouldn't mind being replaced by anyone.

It's a good novel for those who want op mc with no enemies and will give you pure satisfaction when you get to the face slapping part. Btw, can I ask something that has been going around my mind while reading this? Why do I feel like the author of this novel is someone poor but wants to get very rich so he wrote this.

Probably one of the more enjoyable video game novels out there. Had a lot of fun reading this. MC is pretty much likeable. So far, hes smart, not naive and dependable. If you’re picky with mc’s, you don’t have to worry about it with this book
