To start off it wasn't the best. He relied on his spirit too much and it didn't seem like Novis as a character would be built much. However, when he got an interest in the game the development was great. Love the book. Please update more??

P.S. A friend/reader of mine suggested that I make a personal Discord server so you can talk to me (and nag me for updates).

I ask her is it because of a level difference? Like in RPG game the same monster would yield you more exp if you're level 1 compared to level 2 character. The answer to that questions is no; Somehow the monster EXP would diminish as you get familiar with killing it over and over again.
