A rare medicinal fungus that grows in salt mines controlled by the government. It is said to help with bearing sons, making it highly sought after by imperial consorts and wealthy families desperate for male heirs. Two pieces weighing twelve jin total were sold for one hundred liang and eight qian of gold (nine gold taels per liang at the second pharmacy). In the capital, one liang could fetch up to a hundred gold taels.
