A grand banquet arranged by the Old Madam to welcome Pei Silang's return from Chang'an. The Pei Residence was draped in colorful silk with music of silk and bamboo instruments. Everyone in the residence received reward money. The celebration was held in the front courtyard, while the Third Branch remained in mourning gloom.
