Thick ledgers from Wang Hua's residence containing chaotic single-entry bookkeeping with mixed transactions, coded language, and symbols. The accounts were incomprehensible and designed to hide embezzlement. Chongzhen used them as the basis for demonstrating his double-entry bookkeeping method.
