A fire set intentionally in the small study in the back courtyard by Changzhou at Pei Shaohuai's orders. The smoke and cries of fire created a distraction that allowed Pei Shaohuai to enter the hall and demand the Second Old Madam leave for her safety, effectively ending her visit.
