A skit written by Yao Qingqing about a couple (Old Zhang and his wife) who favored their son over their daughter. Thirty years later, the neglectful parents grew old and frail with no one to care for them, until their daughter returned with food and offered to take them in. The skit caused a huge reaction in rural areas and changed families' attitudes toward educating girls.
