Plots of land boldly marked as School Lands in the Du family's concealed land registers. These were part of a massive scheme to hide land ownership and siphon off enormous yields over the years. The investigation of school lands was one of the three key reforms proposed by Princess Zhaohua and was considered the most lethal and controversial of the proposals.
