A palm-sized metal pad found wedged beneath a flowerpot on the balcony of Unit 2. Its edges were no longer sharp and it was pressed into a curved arc matching the flowerpot base. The pattern printed on it had faded from exposure to sun and rain. Li Heng hoped to lift fingerprints from it, though corrosion likely compromised the prints.
