Wooden frames with carved indentations made by a Qingzhou carpenter at Xiao Shenglan's request. They were designed to grow watermelons with ghost face patterns on their rinds. Due to over-fertilization and uneven growth, the results were uniquely ugly and misshapen rather than neat ghost faces.
