Also called the Flower Goddess Festival, celebrated on the twenty-fifth of the second month in the Great Yan dynasty. It is a traditional celebration of the birthday of all blossoms. Unmarried young ladies wore finest dresses and gathered at the Flower Goddess Temple, each choosing a flower to adorn her hair. Gentlemen selected one representative from each flower's group, producing twelve Flower Goddesses total. Being chosen greatly aided marriage prospects.
