A root vegetable brought from southern regions. The skin is slightly toxic and must be cooked before eating. Can be dried in the sun and ground into flour for long-term storage. Mei Qian acquired a large quantity (at least 200 catties) for free from a grain shop in Ping'an Town after the shopkeeper thought it had spoiled and planned to throw it away.
