Hu Shen's close sister on the grasslands. She wears a bearskin coat given by her husband. She has two sons, aged ten and five, born to her and her husband's elder brother while the brother was still alive. Years of labor and winter winds have tanned her face and dried her skin, but she has a bright smile and loud, joyful voice. She gave Hu Shen advice about choosing a sturdy man for survival on the grasslands.
