Pei Chi's mother and Pei Zhi's wife. She was the younger sister of Pei Zhi's most admired student and held a low position. She went into premature labor after learning of Pei Zhi's death, suffered heavy hemorrhage, and died shortly after giving birth to Pei Chi.
