Shen An's close friend who is very perceptive and friendly toward Wen Li. He frequently hovers around her so much that colleagues once mistook him for her husband. He tries to defuse the tense situation when Shen An confronts Wen Li at the club. He offers to comp the male models' bill and gives up his seat for Wen Li. He is protective of Shen An and gets stern when Shen An makes gloomy remarks about dying.
