Lin Mian's blind date, forced upon her by her uncle. He is cowardly and self-preserving, abandoning Lin Mian in the mud to save himself. He is captured by traffickers and betrays Lin Mian to the bald man, offering her up in exchange for his life. He is beaten, shot in the shoulder, and terrified. He claims to have only held Lin Mian's hand and never kissed her. He pleads for his life citing his parents and status as an only son.
