The villainous big shot and heir of the Zhan family, the wealthiest and most powerful clan in the country. He is the only son of the Zhan family and is being hunted by his uncles, particularly his second uncle who secretly manufactures and sells firearms. He was shot in the shoulder and later in the abdomen in the original story but survives. He wears a ring on his pinky symbolizing his status as heir. He is described as having sharp, clean features with a refined and striking appearance. He is cold and dangerous but becomes protective of Xu Yueyao after she saves him.
