A villager who pushed ten-year-old Jiang Ze into the river in the dead of winter. Jiang Ze was saved by Uncle Yang Er but developed a high fever afterward. Years later, Jiang Ze dragged Yang Laosan to the back mountain and broke one of his legs after catching him returning late from gambling. Yang Laosan thought the retaliation came from Zhang Damao.
