Also referred to as Ye Dawei, grandson of Ye Dagen, son of Ye Dazhu and Wang Xianglian. He is the Ye family's only heir. After being hit by his father, he suffers ruptured eardrum and hearing loss in one ear, with risk of total deafness. He is a victim and plot catalyst.
