Supporting character, the village doctor referred to as Uncle Wang. He is the only doctor for several surrounding villages and usually has plenty of patients with frequent house calls. He lives in a rammed-earth house surrounded by a bamboo fence with herbs drying in his yard. He recognizes Lin Aiyun as an outsider due to her striking unfamiliar features.
