Also known as President Wang, a portly man in a suit who was once one of Shen Simo's suitors. She returned nearly all his gifts except for a cheap coin purse. He does not meet her two basic requirements for men—he is neither attractive nor single, as he has a family. He is wealthy enough to spend fortunes on women to cheer them up and offers to buy things for Shen Simo. He warns her that the Lu brothers are not ones she can handle but agrees to help her with whatever she needs.
