Father of Song Ruannin and Song Zhirou. He was the mayor's secretary and a prominent figure who established the largest scholarship fund at Yanda University. He was brought down for corruption and bribery, died in a car accident on the spot after being arrested. After his fall from power, most of his properties were repossessed, except for the first house he bought when he was still running a small business, which is where Song Ruannin currently lives.
