Male protagonist, over six feet tall with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He has deep-set eyes, a high nose bridge, and a tantalizing little mole on one side. He is well-defined and muscular. He was sponsored by the Qin family and forced into marriage with Qin Ya. He has paranoid schizophrenia and has been experiencing worsening visual, auditory, and tactile hallucinations for over a year. His first visual hallucination appeared over a year ago and the condition has accelerated. He sees Qin Ya in his hallucinations as obedient and compliant, which he desperately wants to keep forever. He cannot control these hallucinations. He is a skilled cook despite a rough childhood. He keeps Qin Ya on his phone blacklist but cannot refuse her face. He visits a psychiatric clinic for treatment and was prescribed medication which he secretly does not take.
