She hires people to crash her own wedding to test or provoke someone, and later marries Xi Xingye as part of a arrangement with his grandfather. She is independent, intelligent, and has her own motives: to recover her mother's company that was merged into the Xie family, and to investigate her mother's death. She is skilled in handling crises, as shown during a bank hostage incident three years prior where she saved hostages. She sets three rules for her husband: no staying out all night, no smoking in front of her, and no other women.
