The late wife of Prince Jing, from Jiangnan. Every summer she made him chilled watermelon with fine sugar, arranged as seven stars surrounding the moon, symbolizing the Big Dipper accompanying the bright moon. In her later years her hands shook and she could no longer arrange the pattern, so she simply piled it up. She passed away and the prince never ate the dish again until Lin Shuying recreated it.
