The respected leader of the Qi clan in Qijia Village. He is furious at Qi Mingyu and Old Man Qi for their foolish scheme. He strikes Qi Mingyu with his cane and demands that the child be returned to the Chi family. He promises clan support for Qi Mingyu's education if he complies, and orders that Mingyuan's wife be arranged to remarry.
