Mistress He, also referred to as Madam He, is the matriarch of the Earl's mansion and the biological mother of Song Tang. She is easily manipulated by Song Wei's tears and promises a grander Coming-of-Age Ceremony for her. Despite her fiery temper, she softens when considering gossip and social implications. She agrees to Song Tang's conditions to secure her attendance at the ceremony, showing a pragmatic side. She is the wife of Master Song and the head of the household.
