Also referred to as Ye Hesheng. She is Gu Ruanci's mother and Zhou Zhili's first wife. Ten years ago, she was driven out of the Jing'an Marquis Estate along with her daughter Gu Ruanci by Zhou Zhili, Ye Lanxin, and the three sons. She is currently not present in the scene but is expected to follow Gu Ruanci back. She is described as having raised her daughter well according to Zhou Zhili's bitter remark.
