Wife of Earl Ding'an and mother of the deceased Yang Wu. She is grief-stricken and initially hostile toward Qi Xun serving as coroner. She suspects her eldest son Yang Song of harming Wu'er out of jealousy, claiming Wu'er was legitimate and Yang Song was born of a concubine. She faints from grief during the investigation.
