The antagonist, known as Second Young Master Jiang. He is the second son of the Jiang family, the largest medicinal herb merchant in Ling City, and the brother-in-law of the garrison commander. He is wealthy, powerful, lecherous, and shameless. He uses the Moon-silk Flower to threaten Gu Ning into marrying him. He secretly lends money to Wu Ju to pay his gambling debts, with the condition that Gu Ning must marry him for the debt to be forgiven. He harasses Gu Ning daily at her clinic and makes inappropriate comments about both Gu Ning and Hong Yao.
